Drive Dentsu

description

When I joined Drive Dentsu in 2012 the agency’s online presence was quite poor with an outdated, uninformative website and some unloved social platforms.

I convinced our CEO that we needed to improve our profile and present ourselves as a more credible creative force in the Middle East. So, alongside my day-to-day creative work I worked on revitalising the agency’s online presence.

Primary tasks:

– Front to back UX Copy & Design (Make mobile and tablet friendly, organise and rewrite entire site content, also some custom CSS & HTML).
– Sourced the best and relevant examples of work from all our offices, gave each piece written context and created a portfolio of work that demonstrated our creative capability.
– Refreshed Drive Dentsu’s social platforms with branding and indentity that was consistent with our new website.
– Injected personality and information about the company’s DNA.
– Added easy-to-find locations and details of the network’s offices across the Middle East.
– Wrote a User Guide so anyone at the agency could navigate the Joomla CMS and update the site content when necessary.

Secondary tasks:

– Set up domain names and contact form.
– Set up basic SEO terms to improve local search ranking by analysing competition on Serpfox.
– Set up Google/Bing Webmaster and Analytics.
– Connected website to social platforms (Facebook, Twiiter, Vimeo, Google+, LinkedIn).
– Set up and populated blog content.
